About Confluence Retreats

Confluence Retreats emerges from a strategic partnership between Omnia Group Ashland, a leading licensed Psilocybin Service Center, and the Hi-U Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to providing transformative retreats that foster deep connections with oneself, the community, and the natural environment.

This collaboration is designed to facilitate personal growth, emotional breakthroughs, and spiritual enlightenment, enhancing reconnection with nature. Leveraging Oregon’s pioneering Legal Psilocybin Services law and the lush surroundings of Ashland, Oregon, Confluence Retreats offers a unique, legally sanctioned avenue to explore psilocybin-assisted experiences.

Drawing on over five years of organizing legal psychedelic retreats in Amsterdam, Netherlands, Confluence brings a wealth of experience, professionalism, and exceptional care to the U.S. psilocybin services sector.

The Hi-U Foundation obtained its 501(c)(3) status from the IRS in 2023, further solidifying its commitment to ethical and impactful service.

About our Founder, Myles Katz

Myles brings over 15 years of diverse professional experience across three continents to the forefront of the psychedelic wellness industry. His leadership marks his career in launching and leading five impact-focused startups, each dedicated to technological innovation, social responsibility, and environmental sustainability.

In 2018, Myles co-founded The Synthesis Institute, serving as the Director of Business Development. There, he was instrumental in pioneering one of the world's first legal psychedelic service models, which successfully supported over 1,000 individuals on their mental wellness journeys before its closure in 2023. His role at Synthesis was not just administrative; Myles actively contributed to Oregon’s groundbreaking psilocybin legalization efforts. He served on the board of the Oregon Psilocybin Training Alliance (OPTA) and participated in multiple Rule Advisory Committees for the Oregon Health Authority (OHA), shaping the framework for this revolutionary shift in mental health treatment.

With Hi-U Foundation and Confluence Retreats, Myles is leveraging his extensive 5+ years of experience in legal psilocybin retreats to develop nature-based, multi-modality retreat experiences. These retreats are carefully integrated into Oregon's legal psilocybin framework and emphasize collaboration with indigenous communities to revive ancient healing practices within the Cascade Siskiyou National Monument. Additionally, Myles serves on the Advisory Board of Omnia Group Ashland, the licensed psilocybin service center that partners with Confluence to conduct its programs.

In April 2024, Myles received his Psilocybin Facilitator License from the Oregon Health Authority, further cementing his commitment to advancing the field of legal psychedelic services. Through his leadership and deep commitment to well-being, Myles fosters transformative experiences that promote healing and personal growth.
